Air Fryer Bread

Kelly Marshall

Every time I think the words "Air Fryer Bread" my mouth starts watering. This bread is just so so good. it's moist with a crispy top crust, and it makes a great breakfast, snack, sandwich, or dinner side so there's always a good excuse to make it. Best of all, it goes straight from stand mixer to pan and takes only 1 hour to rise and 20 mins to bake. This recipe has been on repeat all year.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 tsp active dry yeast

1 1/2 tsp sugar

1 1/2 tsp kosher salt

2 TBS melted butter

1 cup lukewarm water ~110 degrees

2 2/3 cups bread flour

Directions

  1. Combine 1st 5 ingredients in stand mixer w dough hook, stirring until dissolved

  2. Add flour 1/2 cup at a time w/ mixer on low, until combined

  3. Turn mixer to medium speed and knead 5-8 mins

  4. Put dough in buttered 6" springform pan & cover & rest in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled (I warm a 170 degree oven for 5 mins, then turn the oven off and insert the dough to rest)

  5. Once doubled, place in 380 degree air fryer for 15 mins, pull out and place a foil cover over top of bread so it doesn't burn for the remaining time. Put bread back in 380 degree air fryer for 5 more minutes.

  6. Once cooked, rest in springform pan for 5 additional minutes, then slice and serve

  7. Can be stored in plastic wrap for 3-4 days
